Cast of Characters

Ma. Marina “MM” Concepcion- a kind of girl who will make the day of someone complete with her simple smile. She is talkative and full of sense of humor. She is also smart and popular in their school. She is also a rich girl.

Daniel Dennis “DD” Garcia- He is a kind of boy with outrageous games. He likes hanging out and traveling with friends.

Jeffriza “Fretzie” del Bianca- MM’s best friend that is silent type. She is the president of the Student Council of their school. She is the kind of girl who will say everything she wants when she is angry.

Bret Verano- He is DD’s best friend. He is kind and opposite to DD’s character. He is loving and would fight for everything he loves.

Jiensen “Yen” Pangilinan- She is also the best friend of MM and Fretzie. She is rich and beautiful that every man would be in loved. Many boys are applying to be her man. She is NBSB too like her friends.

Ivan Legazpi- He is handsome and popular in the school. He is humorous and religious.

MM was about to press the doorbell of Fretzie’s house when a car came by and the man keeps on beeping his car .It was DD, the cousin of Fretzie who just arrived from New Zealand. The maid came by and opened the gate. She also noticed MM and so she let her get inside. She runs inside and let MM make his way. Fretzie came out and hugged her dear cousin. She also noticed that MM was there so she went first to Yen and grabbed her inside.

Fretzie: Before we go, I should introduce you to my cousin MM.

MM: Alright, let go of me. You look so excited to introduce him.

MM who has not saw the face of the man became curious.

“How does he looks? Hmm. Why do I feel nervous? It seems like it’s my first time to be introduced on someone?” MM thought.

Fretzie: DD!!!!!!!!! This is my Friendship, Ma. Marina Concepcion.

MM: Just call me MM.

DD: Hi. I’m Daniel Dennis Garcia. It’s nice meeting you.

MM: Same here. Fretzie, I think we should go, Yen might be waiting for us.

Fretzie: Oh yah. I almost forgot. Couz, we’re going on a mountain climbing. I should see you right after our adventure.

DD: Ohh!! Can I go with you?

Fretzie: hmm..MM?

MM: Alright, but…..

DD: But what?? Oh I think you’re friend doesn’t want me to come with you.

MM: That’s not what I meant. Hmm…It’s just that I’m thinking of my other friends.

Fretzie: Other friends?? Who else?

MM: My friends from states.

DD: Aha. Then, it would be great.

Fretzie: Alright then let’s go. Yen seems to be irritated because she took a long while waiting for us.

DD: I would just bring my own car.

Without responding, she turned back and went directly to the car. “Why am I like this to him? But I must admit, he’s cute and charming.” MM thought, not being aware that Fretzie is on her side.

Fretzie: Friend..

MM: Oh what??

Fretzie: It seems like you’re having a deep reflection on your mind.

MM: It’s nothing. I’m just imagining what would happen on our adventure. Let’s go Manong.

DD on the other side is also confused of his feeling that he wants to personally meet the new friend his cousin introduced to him. “She’s like an angel fallen from haven. I was moved by his smile.” He thought.

They reached Yen’s house that’s just ten houses away from Fretzie’s house. They belong to one subdivision, that’s why they just picked each other when going somewhere. Yen was already outside waiting for them.

Fretzie: Let’s go.

Yen: I thought you would not come. Hmmp…What took you so long?

MM: Fretzie was so eager to introduce her cousin.

Yen: Who’s that?? Is he cute? What does he looks like?

MM: I would have my turn later. (Laughing)

Yen: Hmm. You’re just changing the topic. I therefore conclude that he’s cute. Is he? Fretz?

Fretzie: Of course, he came from our race.

MM: Hmm. You’re so noisy today. I bet you could not talk later especially if I have introduced you to my friends.

Fretzie: BTW Yen, you could also meet my cousin since he would be coming with us. Actually, he’s there at the back.

Yen: (turning his back) At the back?

Fretzie: On the car that’s following us rather.

Yen: Oh it’s not a clear image. But he seems cute, that’s why our friendship had been silent. Am I correct MM??

MM just ignored them. She simply started a song and the two joined her

(Decode).

They reached Mt. Meetina. They excitedly went down the car. MM seems to be looking for someone. Yen notice it and excitedly asked her.

Yen: Is he you’re looking for?

MM: Duh??? No! Why should I look for him? I am looking for my friends.

Yen: Ah they’re what you’re talking a while ago. Hmm… Where are they now?

MM: Oh there they are. But, why are they talking to DD already??

Yen: Aha.. Who’s DD??

Fretzie: He’s my cousin, the tall guy with a slim body figure.

MM: Bret, Ivan!!

Bret: Oh MM. We’re sorry, we lost our way.

MM: It’s alright. BTW, these are my friends, Jeffriza del Bianca and Jiensen Pangilinan.

Fretzie: Just call me Fretzie.

Yen: Call me Yen.

Ivan: Hi guys. I’m Ivan Legazpi.

Bret: I’m Bret Verano. Nice meeting you beautiful girls.

Fretzie: I’m glad you know already my cousin.

Bret: Yah, we three were best of friends since then.

Ivan: He even got envious because we are having our adventure.

MM: But why don’t I know him?

Bret: He lives from other village back then.

Ivan: I think bheztwin, if you stay a lil longer you and DD would also be friends.

MM: Aww.

Their noise disappeared when their guide arrived.

Guide: Everybody listen up! I am your guide, Ryan Rizal. And this is my friend Yong Aparri.

Yong: Hello. Before we go, check your things. Leave all the things not needed. You just need flashlight, tent, foods, water, few clothes and blanket.

Ryan: So, is everything is set?

Everybody said yes and they moved on. On their way, DD keeps on staring at MM. She felt that somebody is staring at her. He does not let her caught him, so every time he notice that she will turn her back, he would act as nothing’s going on.

DD: Couz, you should share your food with me huh?

Fretzie: You don’t even lend a hand on me. You’re busy staring at her.

DD: Aha. Ok. Hold on.

Bret: I’ll bring your bag.

Fretzie: Oh no, but thank you. It would just give you heavier load.

Ivan: It’s nothing to us. We are Eagle Scouts. We’re expert on hikes like this.

Yen: Mr. Ryan, can we take a rest?

Ryan: Ok. But next time just call me Ryan. Nobody should go anywhere ha..

They took their rest. The boys talked about the girls.

Bret: I bet DD is admiring your bheztwin, my chum uh.

Ivan: Yah, I guess too. Did we got it right?

DD: I also bet that Bret is admiring my dear cousin.

Bret: Who would not love her charming looks even though she doesn’t talk a lot. You know what, I had been talking to her but she responses shortly.

Ivan: (laughing) So DD, you admit? Bret just did.

DD: Ok ok. Who would not love her angelic face?

Bret: How about you Ivan?

Ivan: Yen is beautiful but she is conceited.

Yen came by and heard what Ivan said.

Yen: Who are you talking about boys?

Ivan: Aaaaahhhhh. Have you ehard anything?

Yen: Why? Is there anything I should have heard?

DD: It’s just that Ivan likes you.

Ivan’s eyes became bigger. Bret got it so he spoke.

Bret: Who would not admire a beautiful woman like you? Right guys?

Yen walked away. Bret and DD can’t help to laugh.

DD: Let’s have a deal. Fist to get the heart of his girl would be treated to Bohol. Of course, with the girls too.
